Laptop distribution ceremony held at Sindh University Campus Dadu under Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme

A laptop distribution ceremony was held at Sindh University Campus Dadu under the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme (Phase IV) for selected students. 

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Hamd and Naat followed by the National Anthem.

The event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Dadu Wajahat Ghafoor as the Chief Guest. The chief guest was warmly welcomed by the Head of the IT Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Suleman Memon.

On the occasion, Focal Person Professor Dr. Aneela Naz Soomro said that the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme aimed to connect youth with modern technology and encourage them to excel in the fields of education, research and innovation. 

She stated that Sindh University Campus Dadu had always remained at the forefront of academic and research activities and the students at the campus, through their dedication and hard work were preparing themselves to play an important role in the development of their region and the country.

During the ceremony, 50 selected male and female students were provided with laptops. 

On the occasion, Focal Person Professor Dr. Aneela Naz Soomro also presented a traditional Sindhi Ajrak as a cultural gift to the Chief Guest, Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Dadu Wajahat Ghafoor.
