The pre-entry test for admissions to the Bachelor’s degree program for the new academic year 2027 at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, will be held on Sunday, October 4, as part of the first phase. The Vice Chancellor has constituted various committees to make arrangements for the test.

A meeting of the conveners of the committees, chaired by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Fateh Muhammad Marri (TI) , was held at his office to review and discuss arrangements for the pre-entry test.

Director Admissions Dr Ayaz Keerio, Director Finance Zeeshan Memon, Convener of the Coordination Committee Dr Arfana Begum Mallah, Director of the Sindh University Testing Center Dr Aftab Ahmed Chandio, and conveners of various committees, including Dr Muhammad Aqeel Bhutto, Ajved Ahmed Bhatti, Abdul Wahid Hisbani, Rafique Ahmed Brohi, Dr Nazir Ahmed Brohi, Engr Tanveer Gulfam, Dr Intizar Ali Lashari, Dr Arbeela Agha, Dr Mazhar Ali Abbasi, Dr Baradi Waryani, Munawar Rajar, Dr Ghazala Panhwer and Dr Farhat Noureen, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the Director Admissions gave the Vice Chancellor a detailed briefing on the online application forms received so far for admissions to the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, and its additional campuses, including Thatta Campus, Laar Campus Badin, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Campus Dadu and Khan Bahadur Syed Allahndo Shah Campus Naushehro Feroze. He also briefed him on the number of male and female candidates, scrutiny of the application forms, preparation of slips and the districts included in the first phase of the entry test scheduled for October 4.

All the conveners also briefed the Vice Chancellor on the progress made by their respective committees so far and apprised him of their requirements.

The Vice Chancellor expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made for the entry test and appreciated the efforts and commitment of the committee conveners. He said it was a matter of great honour for the University of Sindh that thousands of candidates choose the university every year for higher education and apply for admission.

He said that despite the opening of several new universities, the number of candidates aspiring to seek admission to the University of Sindh was increasing every year, which was a testament to their confidence in the university.

The Vice Chancellor said that candidates coming from different districts of Sindh to appear in the entry test were their guests and that providing them with proper guidance, a better testing environment, clean, quality drinking water and complete security was the university’s responsibility. He expressed the hope that the team of conveners would perform their responsibilities efficiently and that both phases of the entry test would be completed smoothly.

On the occasion, all the conveners expressed their full confidence in the Vice Chancellor and assured him of their full cooperation.
