1st semester exams in full swing at SU; VC inspects centers across campus

The first semester examinations are currently underway at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro with thousands of students appearing in their respective departments.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman Khoumbati paid a visit to various examination centers to personally monitor the arrangements and ensure smooth conduct on the third consecutive day of examinations.

He visited several departments including Economics, Sindhi, Islamic Studies, Muslim History, Sociology, Public Administration, Philosophy, International Relations, Political Science, Criminology, Urdu and others located at the Arts Faculty Building.

He also inspected examination activities at the Institute of English Language and Literature, Institute of Business Administration and the Institute of Commerce and Management.

Dr. Khoumbati was warmly received by heads of departments and concerned deans during his tour of the academic blocks. Speaking to the media and faculty on the occasion, the VC said that the University of Sindh had made foolproof arrangements to ensure transparency and discipline in the examination process.

“I am pleased to see that students are attending exams with full preparation and dedication,” he said and added that the active presence of faculty members and administrative staff at examination centers was commendable.

“We have maintained the sanctity of exams and upheld academic merit at all levels,” he said and added that the university was focusing on creating a conducive learning environment, both inside and outside the classroom.
