Sindh University organizes grand Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)

The University of Sindh Jamshoro organized a grand and blessed Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with great reverence on Wednesday.

The hallowed event organized by the IBA in its auditorium brought together the students, teachers and the members of the Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Rasool who presented heartfelt tributes and expressions of love for the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sindh Professor Dr. Fatah Muhammad Marri chaired the ceremony with Advocate Salahuddin Pahnwar of the Supreme Court attending as the Chief Guest. Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Syed Abdul Sattar Shah, the organizing committee for the Mehfil Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso, Dr. Maria Shaikh, CEO of Tax Inn (Pvt) Ltd Faisal Khan, Registrar Prof. Dr. Mushtaque Ali Jariko and many others attended the consecrated event.

In his presidential address, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fatah Marri emphasized the profound significance of the Holy Prophet's life as a guiding light for humanity. He urged the university community and society at large to embody the Prophet's teachings in letter & spirit.

He stated that the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the perfect model for achieving success in both this world and the hereafter.

He stressed that the core of the Prophet's message was to inculcate compassion, justice and moral integrity in every aspect of life.

Dr Marri further said that the teachings of the Prophet offered a timeless solution for peace, harmony and mutual respect in a world facing numerous challenges.

He called upon the youth, in particular to deeply study the Seerah to build a strong moral character.

“Celebrating Milad-un-Nabi should reinvigorate our collective commitment to serving humanity and upholding the values of tolerance and unity,” Dr Marri said.
