The University of Sindh has postponed the election for membership of its Syndicate on officers’ only-seat in compliance with the orders of the Honorable Sindh High Court, Circuit Bench Hyderabad.

According to an official notification issued by the Registrar and Election Officer, the decision follows the High Court’s directives in Constitutional Petition No. D-6062 of 2025, dated December 9, 2025. The election, scheduled to be held on December 19, 2025, under Section 22(1) (xviii) of the University of Sindh Act, 1972 (as amended from time to time), has been deferred until further notice.

The notification states that a revised election schedule will be communicated in due course of time.
