SU distributes scholarship cheques over 0.4 million among 14 deserving students
Sindh University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Fateh Muhammad Marri distributed scholarship cheques worth a total of Rs 456,650 among 14 students belonging to different batches here on Tuesday.
The scholarship distribution ceremony was held at the VC Office, where Vice-Chancellor Dr. Fateh Muhammad Marri handed over the cheques to the deserving male and female students.
On the occasion, the focal person of the welfare organization Al-Kausar Intzar Mehdi, Director Students’ Financial Aid Office Mian Ahmed Alam Pasha and Rafay Memon were also present. During the ceremony, cheques ranging from a minimum of Rs 14,350 to a maximum of Rs 80,000 were awarded to the students.
Addressing the ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Fateh Muhammad Marri said that supporting financially deserving and talented students was one of the university’s top priorities and such scholarships played a vital role in enabling students to continue their education.
He appreciated the cooperation of the welfare organization Al-Kausar and Idara-e-Khudi and stated that such support from social organizations helped secure the future of many students.
It is worth mentioning that the scholarship amount was provided by Al-Kausar in collaboration with Idara-e-Khudi with the aim of supporting poor and deserving students in their pursuit of higher education.
