ISRA Varsity Chancellor calls on SU VC, exchange views upon promoting academic, research collaboration
The President and CEO of ISRA Islamic Foundation and Chancellor of ISRA University, Hyderabad Professor Dr. Hameedullah Kazi paid a visit to Sindh University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Fateh Muhammad Marri at his office.
During the meeting, the both academic leaders exchanged views on promoting academic and research collaboration between the two institutions and agreed to work jointly in the fields of education and research.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on enhancing cooperation in Business Studies, Medical Sciences and other related disciplines. Both sides emphasized the need for joint research projects, faculty exchange programs, joint seminars and the sharing of academic expertise in order to further improve the quality of higher education and research.
Professor Dr. Hameedullah Kazi highlighted ISRA University’s innovation-driven research; particularly the progress made in medical and health-related fields and expressed keen interest in establishing a sustainable academic partnership with the University of Sindh.
He formally invited Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Fateh Muhammad Marri to visit ISRA University, Hyderabad so that he could review the institutional facilities and further strengthen mutual cooperation.
On the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Fateh Muhammad Marri welcomed the initiative and appreciated the role of ISRA University in promoting higher education and research in the region.
He stated that inter-university collaboration was extremely important to address modern educational and societal challenges.
Dr. Marri also invited the Chancellor of ISRA University to visit the University of Sindh campus, inspect academic classrooms, infrastructure and facilities and further enhance collaborative ties.
On the occasion, Director Media & Public Relations of ISRA University Dr. Mahmood-ul-Hassan Mughal was also present.
