SU all set for Bachelor Degree Programs Pre-Entry Test 2019 on November 11, transport route plan issued, seating arrangement finalized, security cover ensured

The stage has been set by SU administration to conduct Pre-Entry Test for admission to the Bachelor Degree Programs 2019.

As per unanimous decisions taken in the SU Admissions Committee meeting headed by VC-SU Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat in endorsement of the earlier schedule, the test will be conducted on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at all SU Campuses. 23896 male and female candidates will be participating in the test, which will simultaneously be taken at the varsity’s main campus at Jamshoro, Badin, Dadu, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, Thatha and Noushehro Feroz campuses.

The pro-vice-chancellors and focal persons of the additional SU Campuses will personally supervise the test proceedings at their respective campuses.

Institute of Sindhology and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Convention Centre at the main SU campus have been designated as the waiting venue for parents of male candidates and Syed Pannah Ali Shah Model School in SU residential colony for the parents of the female candidates.

In this connection, the transport office of the varsity has issued a comprehensive schedule and route plan. As per this plan, the university point buses will be setting out at 7:30 am from SU Old Campus Hyderabad, Tower Market, Hotel City Gate, Latifabad No. 5 and 7, Agriculture Complex/ Qasimabad, Naseem Nagar via Bypass, Kotri, Jamshoro Phattak and Thermal Power House. The route for teachers, officers and employees of the university to enter and exit the campus will be from Bab-ul-Islam gate along Marui Girls hostel. Male candidates will be entering the premises from Institute of Sindhology gate and the female candidates will enter the campus and also exit the premises from station road.

Mini Hospital of the varsity has also set up first-aid points at four main locations of the test centers; whereas, the fifth such clinic will be in form of mobile van service.

SSP Jamshoro Mr.Touqeer Naeem made special participation in the meeting with a view to discuss and ensure fool-proof security plan and arrangements for the test day.

The vice chancellor received detailed briefing from conveners of all admission sub-committees and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made.

The committee also resolved bar on bringing cell-phones by the candidates to the examination centers in the interest of absolute test transparency.

Error-free seating plan for the candidates has also been ensured and hoisted on SU website to facilitate the candidates.
