A team from the Department of Law (DOL), University of Sindh Jamshoro led by its coach Professor Dr. Ghulam Ali Buriro has departed for Islamabad from Jinnah International Airport to participate in the national oral rounds of the 16th Henry Dunant International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition 2024, which is scheduled to be held from September 24 to September 26.

The SU team consisting of Mr. Tahseen Akhter, Ms. Seep Mehdi Shah and Ms. Nirmal Arif Jamali is set to participate in the event, which is organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

The Sindh University team reached this stage after being shortlisted among the top 12 teams, out of 1,504 competing brigades from across the country, in the preliminary rounds. This remarkable achievement highlights the team's dedication and hard work, as well as the exceptional guidance of the In-Charge of Department of Law Mr. Danish Bashir Mangi, whose innovative initiatives continue to enhance the quality and standard of legal education in the region.
