Culture Day celebrated at SU’s Elsa Kazi Campus

Sindh University’s Elsa Kazi Campus Hyderabad celebrated Sindhi Culture Day here on Sunday.

The event, a tribute to the rich heritage and traditions of Sindh, was graced by the MPA Sabir Hussain Qaimkhani as the chief guest and Dr Abid Hussain Sand as the guest of honor. It was organized under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor, Professor (Emeritus) Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro. 

Addressing the gathering, the chief guest commended the students for their outstanding efforts in organizing the event. He emphasized the importance of cultural awareness in fostering unity and harmony within society and highlighted the pivotal role of education in preserving and celebrating cultural heritage. 

The event featured an array of engaging activities, including traditional music, Sindhi folk songs, regional culinary displays and exhibitions of traditional attire. The enthusiastic participation of students was lauded and they were presented with certificates in recognition of their contributions. 

The success of the celebration was attributed to the leadership of Dean of the Faculty of Education Professor Dr Abdul Sattar Almani and the dedication of convener of the Culture Day Committee Dr. Abdul Sattar Gopang along with his team. Their guidance played a key role in fostering teamwork and cultural pride among the participants.
