The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sindh Jamshoro Professor Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman Khumbhati has been honored with a shield as the Guest of Honor by the Chairman of the Sindh Higher Education Commission (SHEC) at a prestigious Pakistan Day (23rd March) Iftar Networking Dinner here in Karachi.  

The event was jointly organized by Rotary International Bhittai Chapter Khairpur, Sindh Higher Education Commission and  Universities, Boards Department, Government of Sindh and Dr. Essa Laboratories Pakistan. 

The Iftar dinner was held at the Karachi Creek Club and brought together prominent academicians, policymakers and professionals to foster networking and collaboration.  

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Khumbhati expressed his gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the importance of academic excellence, research and innovation in shaping Pakistan’s future. 

He appreciated the efforts of the organizers in creating a platform for meaningful dialogue between academia and industry.  

The event also featured discussions on educational advancements, the role of universities in national development and the significance of industry-academia linkages.
