SU team secures 37th rank globally at IBA ICC Moot Court Competition 2025

In a proud moment for the Institute of Law, University of Sindh, the varsity's team representing Pakistan at the prestigious IBA ICC Moot Court Competition 2025 in The Hague, Netherlands, has achieved an impressive 37th position out of 88 international teams from around the world.

To celebrate this remarkable achievement, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sindh Prof. Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman Khumbati hosted a special appreciation ceremony at his office, where PVC Sindh University Campus Thatta Prof Dr Misbah Bibi Qureshi was also present.

Certificates of recognition were presented to the team members in the presence of Director Incharge and Team Coach, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law.

The Institute of Law’s team included Rizwan Ali Buriro- Prosecution Counsel, Urooj Siyal – Victims’ Counsel, Ramesh Kumar – Defense Counsel and Sarfraz Hussain – Researcher.

Each participant was highly praised for their exceptional performance in oral advocacy, legal drafting, and comprehensive international legal research. Their success not only reflects the growing strength of the Institute of Law but also enhances the University of Sindh’s standing in global legal academia.
