The Department of Psychology, University of Sindh, Jamshoro marked Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with patriotic zeal and vibrant activities.

The event was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil ur Rehman Khoumbati and attended by Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Professor Dr. Nanik Ram and many others.

In his presidential address, the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalil ur Rehman Khoumbati stressed the need for unity and integrity for Pakistan’s progress, while Prof. Dr. Nanik Ram lauded the department’s role in fostering social engagement and awareness.

Earlier, a cake-cutting ceremony symbolized national unity, followed by student speech and quiz competitions on the theme “Maarka-e-Haq” (The Battle of Truth).

The Chairperson of the Department of Psychology Dr Muniza paid the vote of thanks to the participants and guests.
