The Directorate of Sports, University of Sindh, is making efforts to provide sports facilities at students’ hostels on the special directives of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Marri (TI).
In this regard, Director Sports Ajved Ahmed Bhatti today reviewed various sites in the university’s boys’ hostels so that arrangements could be made to provide students with facilities for sports and other recreational activities.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Bhatti said the vice chancellor had specifically directed that maximum facilities be provided to students residing in the hostels for sports and co-curricular activities so that they could enjoy healthy recreation and have better opportunities to showcase their abilities.
He said a comprehensive plan for providing sports facilities at the hostels would be prepared and submitted to the vice chancellor, after which further progress would be made in light of his directives.
