University of Sindh Student Tunjina Ali Wins Future Leaders Award 2026 at ITCN Asia; VC Dr Marri Congratulates
Tunjina Ali, a second-year student of the Department of Software Engineering at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, has won the prestigious Future Leaders Award 2026 in the “Emerging Young Star” category at the 28th edition of ITCN Asia. The 28th edition of ITCN Asia was held at the Karachi Expo Centre from September 22 to 24, while the award ceremony was held on September 23.
The award-winning student met Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Fateh Muhammad Marri (TI) at his office and briefed him him on the details of the award. On the occasion, the Vice Chancellor expressed his happiness and congratulated the student and the teachers of her department. He said that the students of the University of Sindh had distinguished themselves in every field of competition through their hard work, talent and abilities. He said that the award received by Tunjina Ali was a matter of pride for the University. On the occasion, Member of the Sindh Assembly Muhammad Qasim Siraj Soomro was also present. He appreciated the student’s hard work and congratulated her on her achievement.
Briefing the Vice Chancellor, the award-winning student said that the Future Leaders Award was a national-level recognition given under ITCN Asia to acknowledge young individuals who were demonstrating outstanding performance in their respective fields.
She said that the award featured 17 categories and that more than 1,000 young people from across the country participated, while more than 200 young people competed in the “Emerging Young Star” category on the basis of their abilities, in which she achieved success.
On the occasion, the student also posed for a commemorative photograph with the Vice Chancellor while holding her award.
During the meeting, Director, Bureau of STAGS, University of Sindh, Ajved Ahmed Bhatti, was also present.
