Sindh University's IMCS TechVerve-2024 mesmerized students, faculty
The Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (IMCS), University of Sindh, Jamshoro, on Thursday hosted the IMCS TechVerve-2024 event at the auditorium of the Institute of Commerce & Management.
The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout from students and faculty members alike.
Drawing over 600 students from various academic programs, including BS and MPhil Computer Science, BS Artificial Intelligence, and BS and MPhil Mathematics, IMCS TechVerve 2024 mesmerized the students and faculty members.
The IMCS Alumni shared their success stories and professional journeys, enriching the minds of eager participant students on the occasion.
The alumni who were in teendance included Asif Ali Kazi, Abdul Hameed Memon, Faisal Memon, Nadeem Pathan and Aslam Pervez Memon, each offering unique perspectives and insights from their respective fields.
The event featured a gorgeous panel discussion expertly moderated by an IMCS alumnus Tehreem Awan, who is currently serving in the Narcotics Department.
Panelists addressed questions and imparted valuable advice, fostering an insightful exchange of ideas.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro participated as the guest of honor. He expressed gratitude to the speakers.
He underscored the significance of such events in fostering alumni-student connections.
Addressing on the occasion, Director Sindh University's IMCS Prof. Dr. Abdul Wasim Shaikh said that the IMCS TechVerve-2024 provided a platform to students in order to gain first hand knowledge from the alumni, network with industry professionals and explore emerging trends in technology, inspiring attendees to embark on their journeys in the digital realm.
Shields were conferred upon the speakers, while certificates of commendation were bestowed upon the volunteers comprising 30 individuals who ensured the event's smooth happening.
The event concluded on a high note, leaving participants motivated and equipped to navigate success in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
