In a significant step towards enhancing graduate employability and streamlining the recruitment process, the University of Sindh officially launched its state-of-the-art online career portal here on Friday. 

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Directorate of the Informatiin Technology Service Centre (ITSC) with the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalil-Ur-Rehman Khoumbati, presiding as the chief guest.

The new portal, accessible at careers.usindh.edu.pk is designed to be a comprehensive digital hub that connects talented students and alumni with potential employers from both the public and private sectors.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Khoumbati emphasized the portal's role in fulfilling the university's commitment to providing practical and career-oriented support to its students. 

"The launch of this career portal marks a pivotal moment in our mission to not only impart education but also to ensure our graduates seamlessly transition into the professional world," he stated. 

"This platform will serve as a dynamic bridge, eliminating barriers between our capable graduates and the national and international job market," the VC said.

The portal is expected to offer a wide array of features to facilitate job seekers and recruiters alike. 

Earlier, the Vice-Chancellor visited the university's central canteen in order to inspect the cleanliness and quality of food. He checked the food and expressed satisfaction over the quality of food and sanitation. 

Earlier, he also paid a visit to the Department of Physiology and office of the Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences.
