A rally was taken out at Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Sindh University Campus Dadu to express solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces.

The rally was led by the campus focal person Prof Dr Aneela Naz Soomro, wherein a large number of teachers, officers, staff and male and female students participated to show their support to their armed forces.

The participants chanted slogans in support of Pakistan and its armed forces and reaffirmed their commitment to national security and sovereignty.

Addressing the participants, Prof Soomro said the armed forces were rendering unparalleled sacrifices for the defence of the country’s borders and national dignity.

She added that patriotism, unity and a sense of responsibility were integral to the nation’s collective faith.

She stated that Pakistan knew how to defend its homeland and alleged that Afghanistan had promoted elements hostile to humanity, to which Pakistan’s military leadership had responded with courage and bravery.

She added that Pakistan had consistently played a responsible role in promoting regional peace, particularly during developments in Afghanistan, through diplomatic, humanitarian and counter-terrorism efforts.

She noted that the professionalism, bravery and strategic planning of the army and security institutions had helped restore peace in the country, earning international appreciation.
