Sindh University reconstitutes institutional quality circle
The University of Sindh has reconstituted its Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) in line with the 2023 policy of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, according to an official notification issued on Wednesday.
The vice-chancellor will serve as chairperson of the IQC, while the pro-vice-chancellor (main campus) will act as deputy chair. The body comprises pro-vice-chancellors of additional campuses, deans, registrar and directors of key departments including QEC, ORIC, finance, IT services and student affairs along with representatives of the students’ council.
The IQC will oversee quality assurance mechanisms, review academic policies and frameworks, monitor compliance with external standards and consider proposals related to academic programmes and institutional improvements.
