Marka-e-Haq commemorated through vibrant Milli Naghma competition at SU
The University of Sindh (SU) marked the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq on Monday with a special event organized by the Bureau of STAGS. The highlight of the commemoration was an Inter-Departmental Milli Naghma Competition held to pay tribute to the Pakistani forces.
The Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Fatah Muhammad Marri participated as chief guest, while Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Shah, Director of the Bureau of STAGS Ajved Ahmed Bhatti and numerous faculty members and students were also present.
Students from various departments showcased their musical and vocal talents, performing patriotic and nationalistic songs that resonated with the spirit of unity and national pride. The competition drew enthusiastic participation and was applauded for promoting cultural awareness and creative expression among the youth.
According to the official results of Milli Naghma competitions, Mahnoor Khan of the Department of Physical Education secured first position, Huzifa from the Institute of English Literature achieved second position and Nisar Samejo of the Institute of Business Administration won third position. A consolation prize was awarded to Amjad Ali Lashari from the Department of Political Science.
The event concluded with heartfelt appreciation for all participants and organizers, highlighting the university’s commitment to celebrating talent, fostering cultural heritage, and honoring the memory of Marka-e-Haq.
