A Great Opportunity to Learn Chinese: SU Area Study Centre Announces Admissions to Chinese Language Programme
The Area Study Centre far, East and Southeast Asia, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, has announced admissions to its Chinese Language Programme, offering an important opportunity for students and young people to learn the Chinese language and culture and connect with global opportunities.
The six-month programme will offer courses in Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Chinese Business Communication. The minimum educational qualification for admission to the programme is Intermediate.
The programme will enable participants to learn the Chinese language, understand Chinese culture, improve their communication skills, expand their career opportunities and prepare for future international educational and professional opportunities.
A special fee concession has been offered to University of Sindh students to provide them with greater access to the programme. The monthly fee for University of Sindh students is Rs3,000, while the fee for external candidates is Rs5,000. Classes will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
The last date for registration is September 25, 2026, while classes will commence on October 5, 2026.
The programme will be conducted under the supervision of Dr Ishrat Afshan Abbasi, Director, Area Study Centre far, East and Southeast Asia; Dr Ronaque Ali Behan, Coordinator; and Mr Furqan Ahmed Khan, Instructor.
The programme is a valuable opportunity for students and young people in Jamshoro and surrounding areas to learn Chinese and open doors to new opportunities in international education, employment and career development. Interested candidates are therefore advised to register before the deadline.
