Member of the Sindh Assembly Muhammad Qasim Siraj Soomro visited the University of Sindh today and met Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Fateh Muhammad Marri (TI). During the meeting, matters of mutual interest relating to education and research were discussed.

The Vice Chancellor welcomed the distinguished guest to the University of Sindh and briefed him on the efforts being made to improve the university, the progress achieved, the better results attained and future planning. Qasim Siraj Soomro appreciated the Vice Chancellor’s efforts and assured him of his full cooperation in various projects.

On the occasion, Muhammad Qasim Siraj Soomro also visited the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Convention Centre along with the Vice Chancellor. There, he visited the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Chair and various other Chairs and appreciated their active role.

He also took keen interest in viewing the memorable photographs of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto displayed at the Benazir Bhutto Gallery established at the centre and paid tribute to her personality and struggle. He also recorded his impressions in the visitors’ book.

Director of the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Chair Dr. Rehana Mallah and others were also present on the occasion.
