VC Dr Kalhoro visits centers as 1st semester exams started at SU, its campus

The 1st semester examinations at the University of Sindh Jamshoro and its campuses kicked off in a peaceful environment here on Thursday.

Vice-Chancellor Professor (Meritorious) Dr Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro visited different institutes & centers at Allama I.I Kazi Campus and inspected the exam process and reviewed the arrangements made there to facilitate the students. He expressed his satisfaction over the planning of the test which included provision of potable drinking water and cleanliness of the exam centers.  

According to details, the 1st semester examinations of all disciplines at Sindh University Jamshoro and its campuses got underway in a befitting manner.

The VC along with Dean Faculty of Engineering & Technology Prof. Dr. Khalil ur Rehman Khoumbhati, Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences Prof. Dr. Naeem Tariq Narejo, Dr Nek Muhammad Shaikh, Dr Irfan Memon and other officials paid a visit to the Institutes of Physics, Faculty of Engineering & Technology and Centre for Environment Sciences. He went into the classrooms to examine the ongoing examinations and mingled with the students inquiring about the 1st paper.

Talking to the teachers, Vice-Chancellor Dr Kalhoro said that there was no end to reading and the habit of reading could enable the individuals to grow and develop the right direction, adding, those who gave proper time to their studies, earned good name and fame in the world.

He said that there was a cut-throat competition in the national job market and only those graduates could get better jobs who studied deeper & had good edification and knowledge of their concerned subjects.
