Four day Book Fair was convened by Mirza Qaleech Baig and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto convention centres, University of Sindh.

Dr Burfat was the chief guest  of the book fair. While talking to media, he said Books do play significant part to develop our intellectuality and self confidence. The habit of reading books is  helpful in making right decisions in life after understanding its crucial realities.

He further added that youth of today should create this habit and with this they need to adopt habit of reading books other than their own textbooks inducing on literature, science and history. He said that even in the era of technology, books are not subsided. Still, books are published and read in all over the world  With the help of internet, it is even easier to read different books around the globe. He praised the effort of areanging such book Fair programs which help to create interest in among the youth.

Dr. Burfat added that Hope students, teachers, scholars and all other stakeholders concerned can find greater benefit from these books conventions organised by university of Sindh. Vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad presented Sindhi Ajrak to all the concerned at book stalls as a gift of appreciation for their untiring efforts including Dr.Nawab Kaka, Director Shams Ul Ullama Mirza Qaleech baig chair , Dr. Kazi khadim Hussain, Director Allama Ghulam Mustafa Qasmi chair , Dr. Tehmina Mufti,Director Dr N.A Baloch chair .

Books on different topics like literature, language, research, history, criticism  politics, general knowledge, science, arts and other of renowned publications were available in the fair.

Stalls  available such as Sindhi Adabi Board Jamshoro, Sindhi Language Authority Hyderabad, Cultural department Government of Sindh, Oxford University Press, Roshni Publication, Kaweeta Publication Hyderabad, Urdu Science Board and New information.

In the closing ceremony of four day Book Fair, worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat appreciated the efforts of all the concerned and showed a sense of great concern for such programs taking place in future for the betterment of students as well as teachers at SU.
