As many as 14 minority students of Sindh University were awarded scholarships under scheduled cast financial scheme. In this connection, a simple yet sober ceremony was organized by the varsity’s financial Aid office at the office of SU vice chancellor. Each recipient was disbursed a handsome amount. Director SU-FAO Dr. Fiza Qureshi informed that the said grant had come from Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar at Mithi. However, the scholarship award was conferred after rigorous investigation and interview process in the interest of transparency and merit. SU-FAO Case Analyst Qamar Nangraj was also present on the occasion.

The students who received award included Akash, Bhagwan Das, Gunesh Kumar, Kantesh, Kelash, Manuj, Nihal chand, Parkash, Santosh Kumar, Sarwan, Shankar Lal, Tirath Kolhi, Tirath Meghwar and Vinod.

Sindh University vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat urged upon recipients to strive hard to achieve excellence in their respective fields.
