SU to resume phase-wise vis-a-vis teaching-learning process from September 15 instant with strict SOPs observance

SU Deans’ Committee met under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat to mull over the prospects of the face-to-face academic transactions at its main and additional campuses. The house decided to resume the process from September 15 instant albeit with strict observance of SOPs as advised by HEC.

 

The meeting resolved to do the re-opening in phases as per HEC guidelines. It decided to issue report-call only to the final year students to come attend classes in person at respective campuses. The decision to invite first, second, third year,  M. Phil and Ph.D. students would be made later on in accordance with the status of the Virus prevalence in the light of review meetings that would be taking place on monthly basis. 

 

The house felicitated Vice Chancellor Dr. Burfat upon the smooth and successful conduct of online classes and examinations. The VC said it all became possible because of the exemplary positive spirit and response exhibited in the difficult hour by faculty and other stakeholders. 

 

The meeting reviewed preparations for 2021 student intake and expressed satisfaction over the progress made to this effect. 

 

Dr. Burfat broke to the house the happy tidings that SU had received HEC funding for the purchase of a fleet of ten new buses that would be done shortly. Those in attendance greatly eulogized his efforts towards the continuous uplift of the Alma Mater. 

 

SU Registrar, Deans of all teaching Faculties, and key administrative officials participated in the meeting.
