Sindh University Laar Campus Badin launches IT-Industry Academia Bridge Program in collaboration with Government of Sindh, Hazza Institute

In a remarkable development, the Sindh University Laar Campus Badin in collaboration with Information Science & Technology Department (IS&TD), Government of Sindh and Hazza Institute (HI) Islamabad has launched IT-Industry Academia Bridge (IAB) Program here on Tuesday. This pioneering initiative aims to bridge the gap between academia and the dynamic information technology sector. Under the aegis of the IAB Program, a select group of 60 third and final-year students majoring in Computer Science have been enrolled in specialized professional courses tailored to meet the ever-evolving demands of the market. These courses are being meticulously administered by seasoned trainers hailing from the forefront of the software industry in Lahore and Karachi. The program encompasses a comprehensive curriculum offering courses in cutting-edge technologies, including MERN Stack – Basic (ES6 + REACT), Web Engineering Basic (PHP Core and Code Igniter). The formal inauguration of these courses took place at a ceremony held here on the Sindh University Laar Campus, which was presided over by the Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman Khoumbati. Those who were in attendance included Dr. Muhammad, Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman Bhatti, Dr. Muhammad Tufail Chandio and the focal person for the program Dr. Kirshan Kumar Luhana. In his presidential address, the Pro-Vice Chancellor encouraged students to actively engage in the program and leverage the invaluable training opportunities it offers. He emphasized the program's focus on cutting-edge technologies, assuring students that their participation would significantly contribute to their skill development and future prospects in the ever-evolving world of technology.
