Promotion of national cause obligation of all,VC-SU Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat says in 4th national youth orientation webinar

Sindh University vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat has said that adhering to the ideological principles of state, furthering national cause and serving our motherland regardless of caste, creed, ethnicity, faith, class, age, vocation and geographical affiliation was mandatory for all of them as Pakistanis.

This said Vice chancellor, University of Sindh, Jamshoro Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat, said in his presidential reflections at the fourth leg of two-week-long online national youth orientation sessions being organized at various SU campuses by SU Pakistan Study Centre under the umbrella theme of “Together, we are for Pakistan. Today’s session was meant for the students of  Sindh University Campus Thatta.

“We have rich tradition at SU to promote national agenda through celebration of national days, organizing dialogues, seminars, webinars and through convening art exhibitions and sports and debate contests”, Dr. Burfat said.

Dr. Burfat said if anything that could ever transform a nation-state into its ideal version was based on three prongs: quality education, active youth and responsible citizenry.

The vice chancellor felicitated SU-PSC led by its efficient director Prof. Dr. Shuja Ahmed Mahesar upon continuing success of youth orientation webinars.

Quaid-e-Azam University Department of Defence and Strategic Studies Chairperson Dr. Shabana Fayyaz sressed the need for engaed, passionate, dedicated youth brigade to lead society from the front to bring it in step with the fast-changing world to take Pakistan to the enviable heights of success, progress and prosperity.

Eminent electronic media anchorperson Mansoor Azam Qazi emphasized the point of internal cohesiveness with throbbing patriotism in the hearts of youth as a panacea to majority Pakistan problems.

He said, above everything Pakistan occupied, as it should, pivotal place in all they felt, thought, dreamt and did, adding that man was a mere plaything without having one’s homeland.

He urged upon youth to exercise all possible pre-caution while using media outlets as this was where enemy too uploaded its venomous propaganda, further its ulterior agenda and fake-built its narratives on important issues.

Pro vice chancellor SU Campus Thatta Prof. Dr. Rafique Ahmed Memon said the students at his campus were full of patriotic spirit, eager to contribute to national development as and when an opportunity presented itself. Eulogising vice chancellor Dr. Burfat’s concerted efforts at infusing patriotic passion in SU students, Dr. Memon thanked him for his consistent guidance and patronage.

Director SU-PSC Prof. Dr. Shuja Ahmed Mahesar presented a welcome note and shed light on the programme's purpose.
