VC-SU Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat visits SU campus-urban-forest, inspects hole-digger-augur machine
Sindh University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat visited the campus urban forest established near Allama I. I. Kazi Central Library of the Varsity in collaboration with the Sindh Agriculture Department to check the growth of plants, irrigation system, site tidiness, and other relevant developments.
SU Director Plantation Dr. Nabila Shah Jilani briefed the Vice Chancellor about the future plantation plans, current encouragingly impressive landscaping, and the significance and advantages of hole digger auger machine, saying it would afford speedy push-ahead to the plantation at the campus. She also filled him in on the launch of the “Drip Irrigation System” that was to commence at the campus the day that was to follow.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Burfat eulogized the efforts of Dr. Shah, saying she had significantly enhanced the Varsity’s plantation profile despite all odds.
Deputy Director of Water Management System Jamshoro Imadad Ali Qureshi and other senior University professors and officers were present during the visit.
